Job Overview

This position support study start up to help implement new clinical trials and modifications to clinical trials that are both in-patient or outpatient. This position will work heavily with protocol review, consent form, implementation review meetings (practice providers attend, lab team, regulatory, and clinical staff all attend too), pharmacy manuals, imaging manuals, patient specific protocols. The main objective of this position is avoiding protocol noncompliance and ensuring billing compliance. Patient flow/patient scheduling is a large portion of this role, but this is a non-patient facing position.

Job Responsibilies

  • Complete protocol and coordinating patient flow within clinic
  • Insure billing compliance
  • Insure patient safety and making sure orders are written correctly for protocol
  • Insuring protocol compliance
  • Review study documents
  • Facilitating clinic implementation meetings
  • Screening patients for protocol eligibility, ensuring informed consent has been properly obtained
  • Collecting data and communicating with clinic staff
  • Submits reports and documents as required
  • Participates in development of department and/or protocol standard operating procedures and tools
  • Participates in the start up of a study including things such as budget development, contracting, and protocol implementation

Job Requirements

  • At least one year of CRC/patient coordination experience
  • Experience with protocol review
  • Experience with patient flow
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • It is preferred that candidates have a Bachelor Degree
