Description
The primary responsibility of the Education Program Assistant is to evaluate applications by students and faculty members applying for the client’s academic discounts. The Program Assistant will manually review the large volume of applications where student ID or other documentation or academic affiliation is uploaded, and research school email domains to help improve the automated verification system. Program Assistants also process requests for client collateral and swag by verified teachers and students, as well as responding to emails using the company playbook and a clearly defined set of replies, personalizing them as required.
The position is non-technical, but requires the ability to perform Google image searches, utilize Google Translate, research domains, write in the client voice, and interact with other contractors and staff in Slack and Zoom.
This position requires 30-35 hours of availability per week in peak application periods, such as the start of each semester. Depending upon need, hours may be more flexible outside those periods.
