Position Description Summary:
The responsibilities of the Local Station - Facility Security Coordinator (FSC) extend to all rules and regulations that govern and guide Schenker under the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program (IACSSP) and Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP) as the Local station CCSP - FSC; as assigned by the National Facility Security Coordinator, Manager. TSA requires this position to be held by a citizen, national or lawful permanent resident of the United States. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Act as the Primary Manager and point of contact for the Schenker Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF) operations at the branch location.
* In conjunction with the National Facility Security Coordinator, be available to TSA 24 hours a day in the event of any TSA CCSP related issue.
* Manage and actively oversee the cargo screening supervisor and cargo screeners at the Schenker Branch Facility.
* Ensure Branch CCSF adherence with TSA CCSP cargo screening standards and training requirements as provided in the most current CCSP Alternate Procedure (A/P) entitled, 'Amendment for an Indirect Air Carrier that is also a Certified Cargo Screening Facility'.
* Liaise with CCSF Branch Management for escalation of TSA and CCSP issues that may arise.
* On TSA CCSP issues/concerns conduct investigation, analyze, report and recommend corrective actions
* Report to the National Facility Security Coordinator, who is Schenker's National IAC Security Coordinator and National Principal Security Coordinator Alternate (under CCSP).

* Collect, review and submit monthly/quarterly self-audits and statistical data of the cargo screening operation.
* Collect and manage results of following CCSF operations;
* 30 minutes of screening activity per each screener and week
* Monthly KPI performance reviews of all screeners.
* Monthly review of local CCSF scorecard to determine compliance
* Conduct regular team meetings with all CCSF screening personnel to keep them apprised of any changes, new cargo screening rules and regulations
* Create and maintain a dedicated file at the CCSF branch and ensure the following is kept in a Central and Secured location;
* CCSP Personnel Training records
* CCSF TSA required monthly statistics
* Individual Pin Numbers and Login codes for each CCSF staff member - ETD, X-Ray, Network, etc.
* Minutes of team meetings.
* Ensure that training is provided and current for all screening personnel.
* Ensure that designated trainer(s) is (are) up-to-date in training requirements.
* Ensure that all data pertaining to CCSF operations is accurate and properly maintained in the CSR (Cargo Screening Registration)
* Coordinate with Branch to assure adherence to TSA STA's (Security Threat Assessment) regulations and documentation requirements for branch personnel and branch Authorized Representatives as defined by TSA.
* Ensure that all screening equipment has the most current TSA approved software installed.
* Maintain adequate supplies of CCSF supplies. The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.


Knowledge and Skills:
(The following minimum requirements are normal guidelines and should not constrain the advancement of otherwise qualified personnel):
This is a management position, and requires Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred. Generally prefer 2-4 years of related supervisory or management experience.
