Headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, Ameritas Group offers a wide range of dental, eye care, and hearing products. As a Group Sales Representative, you'll contribute directly to our sales success. We'll provide approximately three months of Ameritas STEP (Sales Team Enrichment Program) training, where you'll develop and sharpen your sales skills and learn how to provide for the needs of our customers. Following training, you'll be assigned to a Group field office where you'll gain exposure in a highly competitive and sophisticated marketplace by creating and maintaining relationships with sales leaders. Essential Job Functions: * Learn and develop your knowledge around Ameritas group insurance products to effectively communicate and assist customers * Foster relationships among producers, top-line sales revenue, bottom-line profitability and retention of group dental and vision business * Collaborate with sales leaders and financial analysts to provide the best service * Responsible for understanding the Ameritas dental, vision, and hearing products and positioning those products as desirable in the marketplace and attending to the case from beginning to end * Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required or will have one obtained by the start of the position * This position is planned to start in late June 2022 * Strong aptitude for sales and service as well as the ability to understand group insurance concepts, underwriting philosophies and pricing * Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication * Capable of staying up to date on all products in the company's portfolio * Ability to adapt to industry changes quickly and effectively * Up to 80% travel required What we offer * Housing paid while in Lincoln, NE for training * $50/week grocery allowance during training * Earn up to $70K in your first year * Our company motto is "Fulfilling Life" and we take that job seriously, with a heavy commitment to volunteering and community support, employee well-being, and providing quality products and services that help our customers create a brighter future. * Being a mutual-based organization, the return on our investment goes back into the company, to benefit our members/customers. * We're committed to professional development, opportunity, inclusion and diversity.
