As our Head of Marketing, you will own and drive the company’s overall brand and growth marketing strategy and execution. You will build and lead the marketing team in order to scale our enterprise B2B SaaS business. You will report to the COO and be part of the leadership team.

What you’ll do in more detail: 

  • Lead development of the strategy and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan that includes: 
    • Increasing awareness to position Company and its CEO as thought leaders and change makers; and, 
    • executing a data-driven customer acquisition and engagement plan. 
  • Develop and execute on thought leadership initiatives. 
  • Develop and optimize B2B campaigns and channel strategy across SEO, SEM, email, website, paid digital, events, and more.
  • Hire, manage, and develop a strong, high performing marketing team, creating an environment that encourages personal growth and operational excellence.
  • Own marketing operations including the marketing tech stack, analytics, and reporting.
  • Launch new data insight solutions and web applications; Support our GTM strategy
  • Lead, develop, and create a culture of testing and experimentation to innovate on how we drive business growth, new acquisition, expansion, user engagement, churn reductions.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and deeply understand the customer journey
  • Express the distinct value of our company and solutions to the market and customers; Own product positioning and messaging
  • Create supporting sales collateral
  • Inform market and customer research
  • Set business growth goals with leadership; analyze and report on performance, impact, and insights. 
  • Plan and prioritize work streams for multiple audiences in a strategic fashion to align with business goals and optimize results 
  • Partner with all functions including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Design, and Recruiting

Your background likely includes:

  • Passion for addressing the greatest needs of our time, including climate change, economic disparity, sustainable communities-- with an understanding of the importance of the “triple bottom line.”
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing leadership positions in growth stage venture backed startups.
  • Experience as a marketing leader on an executive leadership team for a Series B or C software-as-a-service venture-backed startup, including proven experience in a scaling SaaS B2B companies.
  • Deep knowledge of the underlying metrics/ dynamics of the B2B SaaS business model.
  • High creativity and bold ideas
  • Marketing across different target verticals, including energy, finance, and government
  • Experience in rapidly building marketing and growth teams with scalable operating practices. 
  • Highly strategic with a bias towards action, with both creative and analytical business acumen.
  • Highly adept with data -- with the ability to synthesize to actionable insights. 
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator internally and externally.
