In this role, you will lead the company’s product marketing initiatives, including product use case and benefit development, pricing and packaging, product messaging and content, sales enablement, and product launches. The Head of PM role will have an immediate impact on our client's ability to grow sustainably — you’ll be the communications go to person between a number of essential teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success and Partnerships. Go-to-Market Development

    • Establish processes for planning, tracking, and executing product launches. 
    • Work cross-functionally across Product, Sales, Customer Success and Partnership teams to define, propose, and execute go-to-market plans. 
    • Work with Marketing to launch products in a compelling and impactful way within the appropriate marketing channels, while measuring and tracking the success of those launches. 
    • Conduct consultative pricing analysis and ROI modeling.

Product Messaging

    • Work with our Marketing team to craft impactful product positioning and key messages that resonate with our insurance and real estate customers. 
    • Clearly communicate product value to customers via targeted account development, product positioning, and sales narratives. Roll product communications into tightly-defined value frameworks that align with product packaging. 
    • Gain insights from early adopters via customer interviews and use findings to make messaging and positioning recommendations and identify gaps in product readiness.
    • Work with Marketing to create product-focused content and collateral (i.e. web copy, white papers, video content) that can be leveraged across multiple marketing channels.

Sales Enablement

    • Work with our Sales and Customer Success teams to make sure they’re aligned on product launches, customer-driven sales narratives, key user benefits, and pricing. 
    • Facilitate and train our Sales and Customer Success teams on new products, key features and benefits, and provide them with the materials they need prior to launch.
    • Develop internal tools, such as ROI calculators, that can be used by the Customer Success and Sales teams to increase sales productivity. 
    • Create highly targeted content for our end-customers and sales team to leverage within the sales lifecycle.

Requirements

    • Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills; ability to translate complex concepts into engaging messages for customers, prospects and sales. 
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, and ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and teams. 
    • Ability to run quantitative pricing analyses and make pricing recommendations and decisions. 
    • Capable of applying first principles thinking to product benefits, pricing, and packaging.
    • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred. 
    • Minimum of 8 years in a product marketing and/or content marketing role at a high-growth, technical B2B and/or B2B data and analytics company. 
    • Experience bringing data and analytics products to market is highly preferred.
    • Insurance, real estate and/or geospatial industry experience is also highly preferred.
