The Law Enforcement Response Team (LERT) receives requests for user data from law enforcement agencies around the globe every hour of every day. Some of those requests involve exigent circumstances which require an immediate response. Every request receives by law enforcement must be checked for legal compliance by LERT to ensure it follows our strict processes on how to handle these requests. Once reviewed for legal compliance and satisfied that the request is lawful, LERT produces only that data specific to law enforcements request.
The successful candidate: Must have a reading, writing and conversational fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have high level of comfort interacting with law enforcement while maintaining highest level of professionalism.
Must enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing work time efficiently without compromising quality.
Must be able to manage stressful and sensitive situations with composed grace and level head.
Must be willing and able to participate in rotational weekend duty and possible alternative schedules. Must have working proficiency with office systems and applications (MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Salesforce, ZenDesk, JIRA, etc.)
Role and Key Responsibilities
The role of the LERT Specialist includes all of the following key responsibilities.
Overall Receive, review and process requests from law enforcement ensuring proper documentation. Develop and maintain an understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance requirements (KPRs).
Develop and maintain an understanding of internal escalation policies and procedures.
Maintain awareness and sensitivity to preserving positive relationships with law enforcement for the local teams.
