Our Bay Area office has a unique opportunity for a paralegal with only 1-3 years of experience. 

Must maintain a current paralegal certificate and complete regular ongoing professional training as required.

Ability to review records and draft various legal documents under the direction of an attorney.

Ability to proofread transcribed legal documents for legal content and accuracy
Interact with clients and attorneys by furnishing and requesting information as needed to complete administrative reports as required by client or assigned by office management.
Ability to assist attorney with trial preparation and knowledge of trial procedures.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word.
Ability to learn and become highly proficient with the usage of the case management system software,

Have a personable and friendly character.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with court personnel, other attorneys and staff, clients, witnesses and outside vendors.
Provide necessary telephone assistance including, but not limited to, answering callers' routine questions.

Strong understanding of legal terminology, local court/jurisdiction rules and adheres to law firm procedures.
Ability to identify urgency and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Ability to manage time and multitask effectively and display problem solving skills by developing methods or approaches to getting the work done.
Strong organizational skills.
