Volt has immediate Openings for Solar Roofing Laborers

The Role:

The Solar Roofing Laborer will work cooperatively with other team members to successfully complete the Construction and Installation of Solar Systems, battery storage and EV wall connectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware manufactured for the Installation Site
  • Assist Electrician with the electrical wiring of all energy products
  • Work with the warehouse and production team to pull solar materials for each installation job
  • Flexibility to shift to different Construction/Installer Teams as needed

Requirements:

  • Roof Work, General Construction, Installer, Electrician, or Carpenter experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to safely handle power tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
  • Ability to work in Unconventional Environments such as Out of Doors and Small Spaces
  • Capable of working at heights including on rooftops, climbing ladders and stairs; and performing duties including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
