We are seeking a motivated, highly organized paralegal to join our trusts and estates practice group. This person should possess paralegal certification and at least several years of estate planning paralegal or legal assistant experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in trusts and estates work, initially handling preparation of deeds, trust funding and other documents in connection with estate plans, and preparation of documents and filings in connection with the post-death administration of trusts and estates. This position will grow into a role eventually assisting attorneys with the preparation of gift and estate tax returns, and complex planning and gifting for high-net-worth families. This position is a good fit for a paralegal with estate planning interest and experience who would like to join a burgeoning practice group in San Francisco. Our firm has served high-net-worth families and closely held businesses for decades and the client base continues to grow.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Possesses a high level of skill using Microsoft Word for word processing and a moderate level of skill using Excel for organizing client information and asset values. Must have experience using document management systems and contact databases. Training will be provided for firm specific programs and systems.
