The Role:

  • Leadership: Help lead product marketing efforts for Company Global including the Data Platform and Trading Platform 
  • Positioning: Develop messaging and positioning for key buyer personas across investors ranging from institutional investors, endowments, foundations, private funds, banks, and more through to qualified individuals that differentiate Company from the status quo 
  • Sales Enablement: Develop high-quality content for marketing and sales enablement, including external-facing presentations, customer case studies, and internal-facing assets such as references, product FAQs, and sales training material 
  • Marketing Content: Amplify Company’s story and value proposition via content including byline articles, explainer videos, blog posts, and web copy, as well as work collaboratively to support demand generation and virtual field marketing programs 
  • Product Launch: Drive the external market launch of future products and releases in partnership with Product Management 
  • Competitive Intelligence: Be the expert on competition and ensure the sales team knows how to differentiate and de-position them in the field 
  • Voice of Customer: Work directly with clients, internal stakeholders, and analysts to better understand buyer pains, needs, and requirements; work with the product team to identify key areas of priority for future product development 
  • Association & Partner Marketing: Assist in the development of strategic partnerships and co-marketing initiatives 
  • Packaging & Pricing: Develop compelling packaging and pricing for Company’s growing set of offerings and capabilities, along with supporting sales tools 
  • Build data-backed measurable KPIs for all product marketing activities


  • 8+ years of product marketing experience launching new products within B2B and B2C environments 
  • 3+ years experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or startups with a focus on data products 
  • 2+ years experience building, leading and growing high performing marketing teams 
  • Expertise in all product marketing functions including messaging and positioning, pricing, competitive analysis and positioning, quantitative and qualitative analysis, product launch management, GTM strategy and sales tool development, leveraging customer and market insights to inform product roadmap, analyst relations, and more
  • Successful product launches from inception to execution to results 
  • Ability to lead and communicate cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering and other departments
  • Experience working with demand generation to evaluate business data to deliver high converting programs that result in revenue
  • Experience managing and developing new marketing programs with clear data-driven results
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - superb storyteller 
  • Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at a time
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office setting while working
  • Must be willing to work onsite in our San Francisco, CA office post COVID restriction
