VP, Global Sales & Marketing Finance will be a senior member of the finance team and a trusted advisor to Sales & Marketing Leadership. Will be responsible for leading a team of 15 people that is the glue that connects the dots between what happens in the business and how it interfaces with the finance organization. In this role, the Leader will be responsible for all aspects of budgeting, planning, and forecasting and managing ad hoc analysis. Furthermore, this Leader will provide financial leadership and analytical support to the business leaders in making critical strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong partnership with Sales & Marketing Leadership to drive pipeline/bookings and manage opex to achieve financial goals
  • Lead and continue to develop a high-performing Sales & Marketing Finance Team
  • Manage budgeting and long-range planning process
  • Drive forecasting and reporting cadence for financial and operational metrics
  • Oversee monthly / quarter end executive and board reporting and business reviews

  • Deep experience and understanding of Cloud/SaaS business models and key drivers for success. Demonstrated experience guiding transition from license-based models to SaaS/Cloud models is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with imperfect information to inform data-driven decision-making. Exceptional ability to challenge and support the business, to anticipate issues, and to drive good decision making with fact-based analytics
  • Strong listener and great communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a succinct, simple way. Demonstrates ability to quickly establish credibility and capability to effectively build rapport with and partner with Leadership team
  • Exceptional business partner with outstanding ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of the organization through influence rather than direct authority
  • High integrity leader who demonstrates commitment to fairness, driving to the right answers and builds culture of trust
  • Thrive in a high visibility role in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and ability to work and deliver well within deadlines
  • Deep knowledge of EPM, ERP, Salesforce, Anaplan, and Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience leading Sales & Marketing Finance Teams
  • Quantitative undergraduate degree required, advanced degree preferred
