Our client is one of the country’s largest producers, distributors, and marketers of premium quality, branded food products for the US retail market. The company has either the #1 or #2 market share position in Fruit, Vegetables, Tomato and Broth, a $1.7 billion CPG category. As the original plant-based food company, they are always innovating to make nutritious and delicious foods more accessible to consumers across a portfolio of beloved brands. The Associate Manager, Marketing Communications will lead the end-to-end marketing communications planning process including agency management, creative development, creative approval, strategic and tactical plan development, leading cross-functional teams and collaboration with internal and external partners. Prior CPG marketing communications and/or advertising experience on the client or agency side is REQUIRED.
Job Duties:
- Lead cross-agency and internal marketing team in marketing communication plans development across portfolio of brands
- Collaborate with brand teams, agencies and omni-channel experts to develop and execute fully integrated and strategic marketing campaigns
- Coordinate and create frameworks to set foundation for planning, evaluating data and insights across the 3Cs (competitive, consumer, and customer) to drive plan strategies
- Provide tools and frameworks to aid the marketing plan development process
- Manage internal marketing plan and creative review meetings
- Partner with brand teams to understand creative campaign development needs
- Build plan templates and formats for internal and sales communication, partnering with sales strategy & planning
- Own tracking of working and non-working budgets associated with all plans
- Develop and manage planning and creative timelines identifying major milestones
