A highly regarded firm in the San Francisco Bay area is seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney. The ideally candidate will have a minimum of 1 year relevant experience and a maximum of 4 years. Our attorneys have defended thousands of professional liability and drug/medical device litigation lawsuits and are frequently sought after to defend individual clinician in medical malpractice actions involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, or birth injuries; to representing major medical centers and public entities. We're looking for individuals who want to be part of a team of attorneys who concentrate on defending physicians, dentists, nurses, chiropractors, hospitals, surgery centers, health care institutions, and allied health professionals in lawsuits arising out of the performance of malpractice lawsuits, institutional provider liability, including managed care litigation, elder abuse, medical and allied health board hearings!

Our ideal candidate will bring prior case handling and deposition experience, along with at least one year of litigation experience, to support our firm and our clients. Responsibilities Case handling, including analyzing, assessing, and executing litigation strategies through all states of litigation. Proactive client communications, including providing liability coverage analyses to clients. Represent clients at litigation proceedings, including at hearings, motions depositions, and mediations.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Medical Malpractice experience
  • Trial experience is a plus.
  • D. from an accredited law school
  • current good standing with the California State bar.
  • Proven work experience in Medical Malpractice litigation.
  • Demonstrable experience researching, analyzing, deposing, and handling cases.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent writing, communication, and case analysis abilities.
  • Embodies core values of respect for leadership, hard work and integrity.
  • Up to date with latest trends and best practices in general/civil litigation.
