The Visa Economic Empowerment Institute (VEEI) is an independent, non-partisan center of excellence for research and public-private dialogue on payments policy, established by Visa. VEEI is part of the Global Policy team within the Government Engagement function of Visa Inc. Government Engagement works to advance public policies that enable the digital payments ecosystem to flourish. Additionally, we work with many teams across Visa to advance business priorities, including new payment flows that expand the Visa network, promote the growth of electronic payments while building strong relationships with governments and stakeholders across the world. VEEI is seeking a Program Manager, to play a strategic role overseeing the day-to-day business operations. The Program Manager will have dual reporting lines to the Sr. Director of Global Business Operations (based in New York) and the Head of Global Policy (based in San Francisco). This role will coordinate cross-functionally within the Government Engagement and Global Policy teams and other internal functions, including Legal, Communications, Accessibility, Visa.com, and our various external partners. This role will oversee the successful publication of multiple content projects under tight deadlines and must demonstrate a flexible mindset, positive attitude, and service leadership approach to the work. Responsibilities * Oversee the execution of a complex global thought leadership center of excellence * Manage the day-to-day business operations, including budget and vendor management * Maintain and update the global content calendar with status of current projects and communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders * Support annual year planning, including the development of a yearly content strategy and supporting plan * Conduct periodic reviews of the programs effectiveness and ensure all program documentation is kept up to date * Work cross-functionally with Global Visa teams, including but not limited to: Legal, Social Impact, Communications, Accessibility, and Visa.com * Support external third-party research projects and act as a single, point-of-contact for the team * Support in the preparation of materials for quarterly VEEI Steering Committee meetings and communications * Motivate and uplift the team by being a trusted resource and removing roadblocks/barriers, as needed This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. COLORADO APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Colorado is $103,300 USD to $134,300 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.
