  • Ability to perform appropriate nursing assessments, education to patients and families and triage within a cancer center setting

  • Provides compassionate care for patients diagnosed with cancer
  • Thrives on developing deep, ongoing relationships with cancer patients
  • Provides patient education on chemotherapy to promote regimen compliance

What you must have
Experience

  • Must have 1 year of nursing experience in a fast paced and team environment i.e. Inpatient or Outpatient setting

Education

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or above preferred

Licensure/Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) by the Oregon State Board of Nursing required upon start
  • Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
  • Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate (ONS/ONCC) preferred
  • Successful completion of ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy course preferred
  • Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) preferred
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
