• Schedule and run monthly safety meetings

• Review and update safety material and best practices

• Inspect Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to Fall Protection Harnesses, Safety glasses/goggles, gloves, etc.

• Liaise with the HR department and other Workers Comp point of contacts as needed

• Provide and develop monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management as requested

• Stay current and up to date with OSHA and other regulatory safety guidelines and requirements

• OSHA 10 minimum, NFPA70-E for electrical, OSHA 30, and OSHA 500 preferred

• CHST Construction health and safety technician as entry-level, ASP/CSP (Associate safety professional and certified safety professional) preferred

• Associates or bachelors in environmental health and safety, occupational safety and health, engineering

• Must possess a valid California driver license

• Ability to travel to various job sites

• Practical and conceptual thinking as related to project descriptions and needs

• Ability to foster teamwork and be a great member of the team

• Creates and welcomes open and honest communication

• High computer literacy-experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, Office 365 and Salesforce
