Senior Property Accountant Responsibilities:

• The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of properties.
• Responsible for the accounting, taxes, and financial statements for their respective properties.
• Ensure transactions are in accordance with GAAP
• Perform CAM reconciliations
• Month-End/Year-End Close
• Work with all levels within the organization such as Asset Management, Acquisitions, and Development
• Mentoring Property Accountants

Senior Property Accountant Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelors Degree with a preferred major in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting and Commercial Real Estate
• CPA or CPA candidate, preferred (there are active CPAs in the organization)
• Strong systems such as MRI (or equivalent real estate software)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
• Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), and follow-up effectively with all levels within the organization and clients
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment
