We deliver billions of ad impressions and millions of clicks daily and are breaking fresh ground to create world-class products. The SPRITE team owns the security mandate for amazon advertising. Our vision is to provide customers with the most secure advertising solution in the industry. To achieve this, we ensure that advertiser data can only be accessed by authorized individuals (whether customers or Amazonians), and we track all interactions with Advertising functionality in order to identify and address any malicious action by bad actors in real-time. Our Security Center services enable auditability of and anomaly detection on all authorization decisions, including whether or not they were successful, on whose authority the actions were taken, and domain-specific granular information from the service owner. You will have the opportunity to design and build amazon advertising's next generation security systems, and deliver major impact by making amazon advertising a more secure ecosystem for our customers. You will build Tier-1 services to handle millions of requests per day, while maintaining response latencies in the milliseconds and meeting strict SLA requirements (high operational standards). You will develop distributed solutions with service oriented architecture to build high performance platforms to service world's largest selection to millions of customers. Our systems and algorithms operate on massive datasets using distributed frameworks. In this role you will be design new and rebuild existing solutions for the fast growing scale of the next generation of advertising services. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience Programming experience with at least one software programming language. bull 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems. bull 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience bull Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced Degree (MSMEPhD) in computer science or related discipline or 4+ years of relevant industry experience Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis Ability to learn new technologies and systems Strong sense of ownership and drive Sharp problem solving skills and ability to resolve ambiguous requirements.
